- 'Free Beer'
This is the official site of the band 'Free Beer' that recorded on RCA Records and toured during the 1970's. The band recorded the self titled 'Free Beer' vinyl album on the Southwind/Buddha label in 1975. The band was then signed to a two album contract with RCA Records in New York and the albums 'Highway Robbery' and 'Nouveau Chapeau' were recorded in 1976 and 1977. Founding members, Sandy Allen, Michael Packer and Robert Caleb Potter are featured on the site and even though the site is still under construction there are photo's and news clippings which can be viewed via the Facebook Link. While there don't forget to LIKE the band.

This is Michael Packers official music site. Michael was a founding member of the bands 'Papa Nebo' and 'Free Beer'. He continues to write and play dates with his blues band and has released several CD's which are available on his site.

Sandy Allen is also a founding member of 'Papa Nebo' and 'Free Beer'. He is currently up in R.I. playing 57 different instruments with 57 different bands and still putting out CD's of his own unique songs. Check out this site.

This is Brendan Harkin's studio in Nashville. Brendan has been a guitarist in several well known bands, 'Looking Glass', and 'Starz' among them. He produced our first 'Free Beer' album and has played, arranged and produced records for several major labels.

This is the site for the town of Oakdale, Long Island. I lived there as a young lad and have found the site helpful in researching material for the book I am in the process of writing.

I recently found this site and it interested me because my grandmother shared a house in Oakleyville with Bill Oakley and we would visit often. It certainly brings back great memories.
